How to edit your Account Settings on the desktop
- On the Parler desktop app, click on the "Settings & Support" expansion carrot icon on the sidebar.
- This will expand the sidebar and you will see a list of additional options such as Share, Logout, Feedback and Help Center
- This list also includes "Settings" and has a Gear Icon next to the words.
- Click "Settings" in the side navigation, from there you have the ability to change numerous aspects of the app.
How to edit your Account Settings on the App Store
- On the mobile app, click on your Profile Picture in the bottom right, in order to expand the sidebar menu.
- You will see a list of additional options such as ParlerPay, PlayTV, News, Connections, Invite, and Home.
- This list also includes "Settings" and has a Gear Icon next to the words.
- Click "Settings" in the side navigation, from there you have the ability to change numerous aspects of the app.
What can you do in your account settings
Your Account: In the near future, you will be able to change or update your email address here. Currently email changes need to be sent to support@parler.com . You can also delete or deactivate your account here.
Preferences : You will be able to adjust the platform settings such as;
- Default Feed: set which feed you want to be defaulted to once you open the app.
- Comment Sort: set the default comment order.
- Default Audience: set the default audience of your posts that you create.
Drafts: You are able to sort through Posts you have created and not yet published to the community.
Mutes & Blocks: You are able to view what users you have muted from viewing their content as well as blocking content.
Notification Settings: You are able to turn on/off which notifications you want to receive.
Display Settings: You are able to select and change the color theme of the app.
Security & Access: You are able to select your login process to the app through Two-Factor Authentication & Set Login Alerts.
